Sgt. DeLara has been a police officer for several years serving the Dallas County Constable Precinct 1 and the Ovilla Police Dept. He has served in many capacities: patrol, warrants, civil and traffic. He is currently assigned to the Grand Prairie Station. He coordinates the training for the deputies, and is the squad leader for the Department's Special Response Team.
